Cabin Craft
Born out of a desire to create beautiful, unique & sustainable handmade cabins.
Each cabin is created in our woodland in Snowdonia National Park. We cut the trees, peel the bark, mill every piece and build each cabin by hand.
Having spent nearly 10 years creating beautiful spaces in situ we realised why not make these spaces accessible to all. So now we have created our luxury A-Frame Cabin that can be transported anywhere in the UK.
We are a 2 man company based in Snowdonia and specialising in round wood timber framing. Will, our master craftsman, who apprenticed with woodsman Ben Law (from Grand Designs’ Woodsman’ House fame) has been constructing round wood timber A-frame buildings throughout Wales for the past 6 years and following a joint project with Mark, who has worked in the fields of both graphic and interior design, Cabincraft was born.
Our aim is to make our bespoke eco-friendly and sustainable cabins accessible and available to a wider market, and with our cabins built on a base frame that can be transported on the back of a lorry, we can now deliver an off-grid cabin to you, whether it’s for increased living space, a garden summer room, or holiday rental accommodation, ready to plug in almost anywhere within the UK (pending accessibility).
Every cabin is hand-built in house, from the felling and peeling of the trees (from our own sustainable woodland), to the hand-carved framing, cladding and bespoke interior finishing, we only construct a limited number of cabins each year to maintain our primary concern; high quality over quantity. You won’t find any mdf interiors in our cabins! We are constantly updating and perfecting our design layout and contemporary cabin decor with each build.
We also take more specific customer requests and offer a variety of interior options should you have certain requirements based on our template cabin (ie specific colours, living requirements, additional built-in furniture etc).
